Multiple occurance

Post by mainemike »

A couple of weeks ago I gave a photo presentation a week ago and met this woman and noticed she was wearing a bunch of bracelets and a Rolex in the inside of her wrist. Wearing it inside made the band look like another bracelet to go with the many she had on.
SO today I was at another event where I saw her again and she recognized me and we began to chat. Having taking pictures of jewelry recently I had to ask here about what she was wearing and the significance of the bracelets. When she got to the watch I asked her if she wore 2 - knowing that most people who wear on the inside used to wear 2. She answered with a very curious 'Yes.' She said she had taken off the other on e because it was not water resistant and she prefers to never take off her watches or other wrist adornments when she showers.

Today I happened to be wearing 3 watches, a Swatch on the outside left and a Fossil on the inside and on the other hand I was pushing a Citizen that looks like a bracelet when worn that way.

I showed her what I had on and she immediately took a liking to the blue and yellow and silver Swatch. I asked if she wanted to try it on and she was very interested. So she put it on right next to her Rolex - it looked cool to see such a contrast - a very fine watch next to one that really is more for playing. I asked her how many other watches she had and she counted about 7 including another Rolex that she has. I told her how cool it would be to sandwich my Swatch between 2 Rolex watches - I could see she was thinking how cool that would be. I have a feeling I am going to hear from her liking wearing the multiple watches.

Hinting how I would like to trade sometime she was all for it - her wrist is a little small but who knows - If I can get one of hers over my hand I could just not clasp it and wear it loose [drag it] with another one of mine. It sounds like I am going to get to try one of hers in the near future.

Stay tuned....

She sent me a picture of the 'Rolex Sandwich' - her 2 on the inside with my Swatch up in the middle. I think it looks cool - she is going to wear the 3 for the next couple of weeks till I see her again. I would attach an image but this system doesn't seem to allow for that. If she really likes the Swatch between the Rolexes I may suggest she keep it for a while longer and ask what she might have for me to borrow. Hopefully I will be able to get it on my wrist as I have fairly large hands.

I have worn watches that had a clasp but just did not clasp it and just let it remain loose or up my arm - I don't like them that loose but could make an exception depending on what she might have for me to try.

I am sure there will be more to come maybe next week.
