Problem - Please help!!!!

Hi, I´ve got a problem with my Baby-G watch.
Every time I click on the Backlight Button the watch resetted itself.
Why?
What can I do?
Please answer.

Maybe you have the change the mode with the mode button first?

I think the batery is empty or near empty.
If there is no light and the display is empty for a moment, I would check the battery.

Thanks for the answers. Maybe it´s because of the battery.
Changed it the last time in 2006 or 2007.
